Data controller
Dr. Pablo Rojas, is responsible for the personal data collected on https://drpablorojas.com (the "site"). For any matter related to your data, write to contacto@drpablorojas.com.
Data we collect
- Newsletter: email address, name (optional), language, the section of the site where you subscribed, and the date and version of this notice you accepted.
- Questions: the text of the question you send through "Ask Dr. Pablo Rojas" and your email address. Your email is used to let you know when your question is answered and to confirm you are not a bot; it is never published and is deleted as soon as we notify you or if the question is discarded. To prevent abuse we also keep an anonymous fingerprint derived from your IP address (not the IP itself). If you tick the newsletter box when asking, your email is added to the newsletter under the conditions described above.
- Technical data: IP address and browser type, logged by our servers for security.
- Usage statistics (only if you accept cookies): pages visited, how you reached the site, country, device type, and general interactions, measured in aggregate with Google Analytics. They do not include your name or email.
We do not request sensitive personal data, such as information about your health. Do not include anything that identifies you in your questions: if a question is published, it is rewritten in general terms.
How we use your data
Necessary purposes:
- Sending you the newsletter with the educational content you requested.
- Answering questions of general interest and emailing you when yours is answered; questions that are not published are deleted.
- Keeping the site secure and preventing abuse.
Additional purposes (you can opt out at any time without affecting the above):
- Measuring in aggregate which content is useful in order to improve it (Google Analytics, only with your consent in the cookie banner).

- Letting you know about courses and new content or services from Dr. Pablo Rojas.
Your data is not used to give personalized medical advice and is never sold or shared with third parties for their own purposes.
Service providers
To run the site we use providers that process data only on our instructions: Vercel (site hosting), Neon (database), MailerLite (newsletter delivery), and Google (Google Analytics, usage statistics). Some of them store information outside Mexico.
Your rights and withdrawing consent
You can access your data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to its use, and withdraw your consent. Write to contacto@drpablorojas.com with your name, the email you registered with, and your request. We will respond within the time limits set by law.
To stop receiving the newsletter, just use the "unsubscribe" link included in every email.
Cookies
- Technical (always on): needed for the site to work and to keep the admin panel session signed in.
- Analytics (optional): Google Analytics cookies (_ga and ga*), set only if you accept them in the cookie banner. Without your consent, Google only receives anonymous cookieless signals.
- Advertising: we do not use advertising cookies. If we ever do, we will ask you first and update this notice.
You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page, or by clearing your browser cookies.
